Distressed Denim

Distressed and ripped denim jeans, especially high waisted, have to be my favourite staple piece of clothing. Worn day to night, summer to winter, you literally cannot go wrong. The strange thing about distressed denim is that even though it looks ripped, torn and messy, when worn they give off the idea you've spent way longer planning your outfit in the morning than you probably did in reality - i know this is the case with me. Dressed up with a cute bralet and court shoes for a night out or dressed down with a plain white camisole, a slouchy cardigan and heeled boots, you're bound to look effortlessly amazing.

The distressed denims on the market that have caught my eye are the Tall MOTO Authentic Riped Skinny Jeans from none other than Topshop. At £45 they're the most expensive of them all but undoubtedly the best quality.
